How does EvCo DSL compare to Qwest?

Price Issues

• Qwest is currently offering "specials" which change from month to month and area to area. These actually cause a loss to Qwest (but if you are $17 Billion is debt - what's another couple of dollars here and there?). When you "revert to the standard pricing, and add the "hidden" costs (taxes etc.), you'll find that we are within a few dollars of the Qwest cost - one way or the other. The big difference is SERVICE!

Service Issues

• We install your modem, set up your email, hook all of your computers up (Qwest - if you pay them $99 - will hook up one - after that "you're on your own"), answer your questions, and generally make sure that you are happy before we leave, all at no charge. If you have problems later, you will not be sent to a call center in Salt Lake or India when you call for help. You will not be told to "call Dell or Microsoft" when you want to get your Email working. If your modem fails - you wont be sent a new one in the mail - we'll deliver it. If you have an "inside problem" you won't be charged $85 to solve the problem. We are local, and pride ourselves in being a "complete" service provider. You get a real person when you call, and won't be put on hold for three hours to resolve a problem. You have access to our home and cell phone numbers if you need us.
