If I can't get on the Internet, what steps should I take before calling EvCo for help?
- Reboot your DSL Modem. Turn off your modem using the power button in the
rear, or remove the power cord from the back of the modem. Count to 30. Turn the modem on
again. Wait until the Link (or DSL) light on the front starts to blink and then goes
steady. Try to get on the web again. This procedure solves 95% of the problems
with connectivity.
- If you are connected wirelessly - first reboot the your modem as above -
then reboot your WAP (wireless access point) by pulling out the power cord -
counting to 30 and plugging it in again. Wait about a minute, and try to get on
the internet.
- If neither of these manage to get you going, give us a call. See the "about us" page for
phone numbers.
