How do I get my email from another Internet-connected computer or from the web?

To retrieve your mail from another internet-connected computer, do the following:

• Open the browser installed on the machine you are using (explorer, firefox, safari, etc,)
• In the address bar type "webmail.evcohs.com" without the quotes (note there is no "WWW")
• Type your username (the part of your email address before the "@evcohs.com")
• Type in your password
• Click on "Login"
• Click on "INBOX" at the upper left
• Read, reply to, and compose your mail

This is a full featured webmail system. You can send messages (compose), move messages, reply to messages, etc. It also has an address book to allow to use webmail as your primary method of getting and receiving email. Remember however, that any email that you store on the server goes toward your 20 MB limit, and that if you are storing 20MB that new emails will be bounced back to the sender. If you are using webmail as your primary email mail system, please delete (and purge) your system regularly (which erases the messages and frees up your disk space).

When using webmail.evcohs.com to check your EvCo.com e-mail through a web browser, you may receive an error 'Your session has timed out' immediately after you try to log in. This is caused by the time being incorrectly set on your computer.

To correct this problem, check to make sure your clock is set correctly, has daylight saving time on or off depending on the time of the year and that you have the correct time zone set for your location.
