Eudora 6 E-Mail Setup

To setup Eudora 6 for Windows to send and receive e-mail, follow these steps.

You will need the following information in order to setup an account.
E-mail Address: (similar to "name@evcohs.com")
User Name: (usually the part before the @ sign)
Password: (the password for your mail account)
Incoming Mail Server: ( "evcohs.com") for your EvCo. mail
Outgoing Mail Server: ("evcohs.com" for your EvCo mail)

1 - Go to the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options'
2 - In the left column of the options, select the 'Getting Started' icon
3 - Fill in the right information fields:

• Real Name - This is the name people will see when you send them an e-mail address. I can be any name or nickname you like.
• Return Address - Enter your e-mail address in this field
• Mail Server (Incoming) - This is the incoming mail server for your account ("evcohs.com" for your EvCo mail)
• Login Name - This is the part of your e-mail address to the left of the '@' sign. For instance, janeandjohn@estreet.com has a username of 'janeandjohn'.
• SMTP Server (Outgoing)- This is the server used to send mail ("evcohs.com" for your EvCo mail)

The 'Allow Authentication' checkbox should NOT be checked
4 - Click OK and the setup of Eudora is complete.
