Outlook XP E-Mail Setup

To configure Outlook XP for Internet E-Mail, follow these instructions.

You will need the following information in order to setup an account.
E-mail Address: (similar to "name@evcohs.com")
User Name: (usually the part before the @ sign)
Password: (the password for your mail account)
Incoming Mail Server: ( "evcohs.com") for your EvCo. mail
Outgoing Mail Server: ("evcohs.com" for your EvCo mail)

With Outlook running
1) Go to the Tools menu and select 'E-Mail Accounts'
2) Click the radio button for 'Add new e-mail account', then click 'Next'.
3) Click the radio button for 'POP3', then click 'Next'.
4) Enter the appropriate information in the settings screen.

• 'Your name' is what people will see when receive an e-mail from you. This can be any name you would like to use.
• There is NO need to 'Test Account Setting'
• Make sure 'Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)' is NOT checked.

When all of the information has been entered, click 'Next'
5) Click 'Finish' and your setup is complete!
